Also known as viper geckos, these small Pakistani geckos reach a maximum of 12-13 cm from head to tail and, for optimal care, require sand, hiding places, and rock walls to climb as they would in the wild. They lack adhesive lamellae but love to climb rough surfaces, if available.

Two unrelated pairs have already reached home, and a third will do so by October 2026 to ensure good genetic variability. Egg-laying by adult pairs will begin in the summer of 2027.
