These cresteds are part of a project that has been a long-standing part of Atthis’ Secret Garden, and they have been bred with the same attention, care, and ethical standards that define the project’s philosophy today.

As the trend has shifted toward increasingly smaller and more specialized species, I’ve decided to gradually reduce the number of ciliates in the reptile room to make room for new projects involving microgeckos.

For me, knowing that they’ll find their way to people who can appreciate them and care for them properly will always be far more valuable than mere financial gain.

The entire group 6 of animals is therefore available at a heavily discounted price.

Project super stripe empty back tricolor

The following pair has been selected to be part of my breeding program. The animals possess all the key characteristics needed to effectively pursue breeding aimed at obtaining desirable, high-quality traits: a thick pinstripe that extends all the way to the ridges of the head (superstripe); a strongly dominant “empty back” trait that leaves the back patternless in several areas; and a highly expressed flank pattern that is already horizontalized due to the dominance of the pinstripe. All these traits are essential for achieving—ideally as early as the first mating— phenotypes similar to the results obtained so far only in Korea.

The following pair has been selected to be part of my breeding program. These animals possess all the key characteristics needed to successfully pursue a breeding program aimed at achieving results that, so far, exist only in the U.S. Thanks to the presence of the hypo gene, the base color will lighten with each generation, eventually turning a pale blue. At the same time, the tangerine gene —which already gives the white a peachy hue— will become even more pronounced, resulting in a fluorescent orange. An elegant result that stands out thanks to its contrast. A combination never before seen in Europe.
