Ethical breeding and conservation of rare terrestrial micro geckos

Atthis’ Secret Garden was born out of a passion for small, rare, and often underappreciated species. Each animal is raised with a focus on health, natural behavior, environmental stimulation, and sound genetic lines.
About me
I have been breeding ethically since 2019, focusing on high-quality offspring while fully respecting the animals’ needs. Breeding adults and growing juveniles are treated with care, nurtured, fed, supplemented, and housed properly in enclosures of adequate size to maintain and optimize the development of their musculoskeletal system and provide appropriate environmental enrichment.
My primary goal is the conservation of rare and micro/small terrestrial gecko species. I have carefully selected all my breeding pairs so that, despite the extremely limited gene pool, I can offer pairs of young geckos bred by me—which are themselves unrelated—to anyone who wishes to continue my conservation project.
Since 2025, I have been a member and volunteer with the Italian Gekko Association; I actively write articles for their official website and serve as editor-in-chief of Italian Gekko Magazine. In August 2025, I earned my diploma as a technician in captive herpetofauna management after successfully completing the professional training course offered by the IGA.
